Playing for God

When I was in the 4th grade I saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show along with most of the country at the time. I was determined (like many others) to learn to play the guitar. Fast forward many, many years later, I am able to do two of my passions on Sunday morning, Praising God and playing a little guitar. Even though I am not a great musician I was given a great opportunity to spread the word of Jesus to others through music. The fellowship of the band is the icing on top of a really nice cake. I have seen (first hand) how the praise service has lifted people and I have to say it has lifted me up as well. I have seen the service grow in numbers and sometimes this summer it has been almost full. If you have not experienced to OEUMC praise service you should give it a try. Sunday mornings at 10:30.
